BEST TIME IS NOW !!!

We read in the daily newspapers how the politicians create enmity where there is amity, where the women are respected but are insulted, etc. This is also, time and again repeated in the Electronic Media for the information of the public. In the net there are many comments, some favouring and some against. Others suggested that the Election Commission and Court should take action against them, etc. What is missing is "What we can do at this moment".

India is the only one country where you get a wide diversified people living in harmony, helping each other, participating in all the festivals irrespective of which community they belong to. We should really be proud of this multi-cultural society which most of other countries envy. However, this has been completely spoiled by our political class sowing the seeds of enmity to gain votes. Who is to blame for all these evils. We, the lethargic citizen of India who follow them without applying their minds.

If you are a citizen of peace loving India and you want to retain the rich multi-cultural society and also want to live peacefully in the years to come, NOW IS THE TIME to give instant justice against those who create problems in our society – Election 2009. Instead of asking Election Commission or the Court to take action, it is the right time for us to give instant justice by rejecting them outright in the election against those mindless leaders to whichever political party they belong to who sow the seeds of hatred. Let the law take its own course. It will take years, by which time the tenure of one Lok Sabha gets over. In the meantime the elected representative enjoys all the benefits, create more problems and becomes law unto himself. If his election is declared illegal, then whatever the benefits he enjoyed will not be recovered from him. The damage he caused to the society is beside the point.

In the present society followers of Devil are more than followers of God. Nevertheless, the saying “Mysterious are the ways of God” still prevails. HE takes control at an appropriate time.

My fellow citizen, if you love India, if your next generation wants to be happy, live peacefully and in harmony, irrespective of Caste, Religion, Region, Rich or Poor as the children of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD, cast your vote judiciously to save India today, for a better tomorrow. Next election will be too late. We want Statesmen and not Politicians. The Statesmen wants to see next generation whereas the Politicans see next election.

Please learn a lesson from our neighbour – Pakistan. They preached and practiced hatred against India for which they are paying heavy price now. It is now very difficult for it to come out of its own folly. Because of some of the fundamentalist attitude of some of the parties, we are also heading towards it which we have to stop at any cost.

ELECTION – 2009 should be the deciding factor for India’s future and it is in our hands. Be a responsible citizen and save INDIA.

VOTE 2009

YOUNG MPs FAIL FLOOR TEST

There was a news item in DNA dated 13.03. 2009, (page 11) saying that the Young MPs fail floor test. I do not think anybody was surprise on read this. This was expected as they belong to the elite families of politicians. Who will ask questions - a person who is hungry and thirsty and is having problems. The members of the elite families do not face any problems and are neither hungry nor thirsty. Therefore, why they should ask any questions in the Parliament and for what?

And what about the old MPs who are above 80+. Some of them were busy in one hospital bed or the other with different ailments. They have their own problems and have had no time to think of the problems of others. Some were busy in public relation so that they could at least become PM before the world comes to an end.

And the MPs in between were all busy in their own business or sleeping when the Parliament session was on and in some cases the public was watching on TV how the chairs, microphones and other items were flying in the Parliament.

THE THIRD FRONT

We understand that Mr. Deve Gowda laid the foundation for the Third Front as an alternative to the other two. After forming the Front they have started blaming UPA and NDA saying that UPA allies are deserting Congress and NDA is a sinking ship respectively. Fair enough. At the same time they are worried that their own allies may jump the ship after election. This shows that the Third Front is like a dried leaf about to fall and are not sure where the wind will take it. Whether it will fall in the flowing water or in fire. This is going to happen as the tug-of-war will begin before the result are declared, for the post of PM.

The TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has promised a lot of things to the farmers and the poor. Has he realized where the money comes from? Is he going to pay from his pocket, from his party or from the pockets of the citizen by imposing additional tax. If he is paying from his pocket or from his party, then we can call him a Statesman. If not, then he is an opportunist and has no right to do so.

Every Party, big or small, has glued together with one party or more parties for the election. Once the results are declared,(like arrival of monsoon), the glue will give way and the parties will fall one by one and will start swinging from one side to the other as the tunes played. The voters will have an opportunity to see a Grand and wonderful Circus, which they have never viewed so far, as the price for their votes.

YEAR OF THE WOMEN V/S LOK SABHA ELECTION

Most of the Print media have projected Four women who may play major roles in the Indian Politics after the Lok Sabha election. In my opinion, India will be making a biggest Movie, ever made in the world spending approx. Rs.10,000/- crores. The name of the Movie, yet not known, but probably called “Khichdi Government”. There will be many villains with equal number of heroes, heroines, and countless side actors. Believe me, every actor will play his /her part well and entertain the citizen of India to the best of their abilities. However, this film will not be nominated for Oscar award. Because it will fail miserably, as it will not impress the people of India.

In the Slumdog it was “Jai Ho”, that won the Oscar. In this movie, it will not be either Jaya ho, Mamata ho, Maya ho, or Sona ho. But the Theatre (Parliament) will have full of excitement on account of “Horse Trading”. The people of India will be able to see one horse jumping from one side to the other depending upon the quantity of food each side offers.

In the bargain, for the voters, there will be no Jaya (win), no Mamata (love), but only Maya (Illusion) that we are going to get Sona (gold).

Dear fellow citizen, we have been experiencing the political Hira Pheri for over 60 years. Instead of striving to make India more vibrant and prosperous, all parties are out pointing finger at each other without realizing that while pointing out one finger three fingers are pointing out at them. This is nothing but to cover up their failures either as a Governing party or as an Opposition Party. Either way all have failed and neglected the voters, fooling them with one slogan or the other thus amassing disproportionate wealth for themselves.

We see what is happening in the neighbouring country – Pakistan. The ISI’s child, LeT, which was fed with a lot of love with an ulterior motive has grown up now and has become a giant to devour Pakistan.

In India too, all political parties have also in one way or the other helped or encouraged similar type of organizations, some of them have grown to full size and are out of their control. If this is allowed to grow further, India’s condition is not too long to follow Pakistan situation. Terrorists have no religion, no nation, no family attachment. They belong to the kingdom of Satan. When required, all join to accomplish their purpose – Destruction. Therefore, we should be very careful of all the present political parties as none of them are interested either in the welfare of the citizen or of India. Whatever they promise is nothing but “MAYA “(ILLUSION). Let us be smart and not be fooled any more.

GLOBAL RECESSION !!!!!!!

All over the world every body is talking about Global Recession. Even in India the students who just pass out from the Management Institutions are not getting jobs they deserve and are prepared to join any organisaiton without pay or at any salary. I just cannot imagine the plight of those Management students who were aspiring to climb the ladder of high positions, when their hopes shatter.

The private companies, in order to save retrenchments or loss, have either increased working hours or cut pay so as to compensate the losses they incur due to this global recession. The employees too have willingly agreed to co-operate with the Management to tie over the present situation.

Though the world is reeling under the Global Recession, Government of India seems not affected at all. Therefore, the Government has agreed to consider recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission to Government employees. It may be true that the Commission was appointed much earlier and its recommendations received earlier than the recession could raise its head which the members of Sixth Pay Commission never anticipated. At least, the Government, looking at the situation all over the world in general and India in particular, could have kept this Sixth Pay Commission recommendations in abeyance for the time being.

Here we can see the difference between the Private Employer and the Government so also their respective employees. The Government employees threatened to go on strike if the recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission are not implemented. First of all before demanding the increase in pay, they should also ask their own conscience whether they do justice to the pay they receive giving the public the service they deserve, whose servants they are. If not, then they are not receiving the pay, but the curses of the affected public. The Government too without bothering about the global recession agreed to pay them, keeping in view the next election rather than the global recession or that the additional revenue would have to be collected from the general public in the form of additional taxes, who are already at the receiving end due to the global recession.

We probably will have an interesting 15th Lok Sabha which will consist of “All in One”. I mean to say that will be a combination of all – Professional Politicians, Professional Cricket Players, Professional Movie Stars, Professional TV Stars, Professional Criminals and what not. This is because we understand that the political parties are trying to select Cricket players, Bolly Hood Stars, TV Stars, etc. to capture power by hook or by crook. What they failed to understand is that majority of voters have realized that they do not want the Parliament to be the stage for entertainment but to be serious in protecting the interest of its citizen and the Nation.

I don’t think there will be any Professional Statesman. Because, the existing Politicians look forward only the next election as nobody is talking about the Next Generation and what our next generation should be. The next generation has been politicized already by entering into the educational and religious institutions by training students to beat, manhandle, deface the Principals, Teachers, Priests, etc. as preparation for the GenNext Politicians.

During the earlier Lok Sabha we used to see many of our elected representatives sleeping during the proceedings. At least in the 15th Lok Sabha they may not sleep as there will be Cricket Match, TV show, Movies covering a lot of entertainment, etc. The elected representatives will be doubly benefited by way of entertainment and with sitting allowances. However, the general public who watch Parliament proceedings will lose by wasting electricity and some may not be able to see due to load shedding.

There are some other parties, who are not sure to win. So they adopt a policy of “Crab Mentality”. If I can’t get, I will ensure that you too won’t get. So, about Eight Crabs have come together to form a Third Force. In case they get a majority to form the Government, then there will be a fight for the post of Prime Minister and other important ministries. In the bargain, the Eight Crabs will pull into eight directions, breaking their Third Force in to a Spent Force.

Let us anxiously wait for the Mega Entertainment from May 2009 onwards.

Yes, this is “Mera Bharat Mahaan”

BID TO STOP GANDHI AUCTION ?

I do not understand the hue and cry made on the bid to auction Mahatma Gandhi’s personal belongings which we consider now as the prized one. Why do we require his personal belongings when we had killed him and forgotten him?

In the Holy Bible, Jesus has clearly mentioned “a Prophet is not recognized in his own house and in his own country”. This is very much relevant to our country too. A country which is over three thousand kilometers away has retained and maintained Gandhiji’s personal belongings, as a mark of respect on the principles he practiced and lived. Let me ask a single political party in India who really follow what Gandhiji preached and practiced during his life time. It is a shame on our part to stop auction of his personal belongings when we have scant respect for him. We remember him once a year, i.e. 2nd October, cleaning cobwebs on his photos, giving to his statue a good bath to clean of bird droppings. The political parties visit his grave once in five years after the election, to offer him flowers and to tell him “You remain here with your Principles and we will rule with our own principles”.

If India had followed his principles and governed on that basis, India would have been a prosperous country, full of literates, lived happily irrespective of caste, religion, region. Instead of removing caste system we have multiplied them from just SC/ST to so many other divisions. That is the only greatest achievement we have achieved after his assassination. I do not know whether it is an honour to him or insult to him.

14TH LOK SABHA

We read about the 14th Lok Sabha coming to an end and profiles of some of the MPs who have had put in number of years put in, in the Lok Sabha. However, what is missing is their achievements during their long tenure in the Lok Sabha. In every organization, there is a system of annual assessment of every employee whether he is worker or a manager. On the basis of this assessment he will be rewarded. This also should be made applicable to the elected representatives.

I suggest that whenever the Lok Sabha or the State Legislature comes to an end, a progress card of each of the elected member should be published, giving details of his /her achievements and failures during his/her tenure as elected representative. This will definitely give them an opportunity for self-introspection and to judge himself/herself whether he/she deserves another chance.

While publishing this progress report, they should also include:

1) What was the assets owned by him/her when he/she first got elected
2) What was his/her assets at the end of each five year terms
3) How these assets were acquired and details thereof
4) Any criminal cases pending against him/her and if so details thereof
