HOW STRONG IS OUR O(FF) POSITION

To have a strong democracy in a country, two strong political parties is a Must. One party to govern and the other equally strong opposition to keep a check on the governing political party from misusing the power. Actually, a strong opposition is a must to act as a watch-dog of the voters. The elected members who are supposed to look after the interest of the people have turned out to be parasites. Therefore, the public interest is safe guarded by the High Courts or the Apex Court.

It was the aspiration of the voters that in our country, the BJP would be an ideal and a strong opposition party. However, looking at the chaos created within the party, it is doubtful whether it will survive to contest next general election or walk into the sunset.

During the last few days, the petals of Lotus are falling one by one and one of the most important petals that has fallen apart, has released so much of aroma, the Indian citizen are more than surprised that such type of aroma was in store in the party.

So far two aromas (skeletons – Khandahar and Questions for payments in the Parliament) have fallen from the cup board of the party. Now, Mr. Singh, we JUS(T)WANT more particularly, on Kargil War, Attack on Parliament, etc. to name a few. You were in Defense and were defending the nation. It is your duty to the nation to bring the facts to the people, if you are really a true soldier.

During the last General Election, the Iron Man was always accusing a weak and remote controlled Prime Minister. The weak has become stronger and the Iron Man is getting rusted day by day with new kind of rust and nobody is there to apply rust preventive coat and the RSS is firing the shots. Now it is amply clear that the BJP is being remote controlled by the RSS even though they denied time and again.

There was an article in the Economic Times dated 31st August, 2009 on page 2 “Walking into the sunset, unsung & humiliated”. In fact I want to add one more word to this “Unhonoured”. The Old saying, “Jaisa Karni, vaisa Bharni” or “For whatever a man sows, so shall he reaps”, still hold good and very much alive. It is an eye opener for others too to note the words of Jesus Christ, “The Heaven is within you and the Hell too”.

Convert, Repent and change your heart. It is not too late. Realise that all people are children of ONE GOD and serve them selflessly. GOD is still compassionate. HE forgives even a Terrorist, if he Repents. Like every dark cloud has a silver lining, you too can come up as a Shining viable Opposition Party which India badly needs in the present scenario.

DECLARATION OF ASSETS

A lot of noise is created about the declaration of assets by the Judges. What is the use of just declaring the assets. In my opinion and with high regard to the Judges, they may not have much assets as our Judicial system is not so much corrupt. Well, the people working in the Judicial Department, in most cases, are corrupt giving a bad name to the Judges. Hence they should declare their assets every year. There we may get the real cream. People have grease the palms of the concerned employees in the department, even to get the copy of the judgment on time. The Judges may not be aware of this corruption or may not have time to look into it.

Our Hon'ble Prime Minister, during his address to the Income Tax Department emphasized the need to hook big fish rather than small ones. The Department is very well aware of those big fishes in the nation. However, either they do not want to catch them for fear of action by their political bosses or they may be getting a part of the cream to quash up the matter thus depriving the nation its legitimate revenue.
The Income Tax dept. is very happy to harass the small fish leaving the Big fish untouched and allow it to grow still bigger.

Now let me go to the other side of the coin. All the candidates while filing their applications to contest election have to declare their assets. Some have declared assets in crores of rupees but do not have a PAN. That means they have not paid a single paisa tax to the Government. Such law breaking people are proud to be our law makers and want to govern the law abiding citizen of India. Is this not a mockery of the system? I feel they, while filing the details, should also submit an Affidavit giving details of the assets, how they acquired it, source of their income, how much tax they have paid to the Government etc. After declaration of assets, an Independent Agency should investigate, verify the declaration made by each candidate and if found incorrect, should be disqualified before the election so that all the litigations can be avoided later on which take more than 5 years. In the mean time the illegally elected person enjoys all the fruits as an elected member and there is no provision to recover it from him if he is disqualified. Just declaring the assets and doing nothing about it is a mockery of the system.

There should be a system that all the Government employees, from Office Boy to the Chief Secretary should declare their assets every year and a thorough investigation should be carried out on what they have declared. In some cases, even office boys in some Government offices (including Municipalities) have assets disproportionate to their income(probably more than the assets of our Prime Minister). Then just imagine how much more would be there with the other higher ups.

If the disproportionate assets of Government employees and other big fishes are investigated and confiscated the ill gotten money, the Government will have plenty of money to carry out their dream projects all over India in eliminating poverty and illiteracy.

BJP’S CHINTAN BAITHAK OR CHINTAJANAK BAITHAK?

It is really sad to see that the BJP’s flourishing Lotus is slowly but steadily fading and the petals are falling one by one. Sad because, I wanted to see it as a promising and well deserved Opposition Party as it was considered to be a “Party with a Difference”. Now we see the Difference in the attitude of the people after tasting the power at the Centre for six years and losing power in two consecutive terms.

They should have learned a lesson from Pakistan before persecuting minority communities while ruling at the Centre and now in some of the states. Well, different people have different views about this. Pakistan, from day one started teaching its children to hate Indians and destroy India, persecuted minority community living in Pakistan, created terrorist organizations to accomplish their objects. Now the same organizations which they nurtured have started devouring Pakistan. The same mentality was adopted by BJP. However, Indian people are much matured and did not fall pray to their crooked hidden agenda. However, when they got the power at the Centre and some of the states, they tried to impose what they wanted to accomplish in the name of God. They thought by persecuting minority community they will please God. The blood of those people who were persecuted appealed to the ALMIGHTY. Now He has pronounced His judgment with the result, all the misdeeds of the party are coming out in open, not by outsiders, but from insiders who are placed in important positions in the party. "Mysterious are the ways of God".

A note of caution to other parties too – do not laugh at the plight of BJP. If they repent and convert themselves, God may bless them and you may be the next in line, if you fail to do the Will of God. Though this world is ruled by Satan, God will not forsake his children when their blood cried for justice.

All people, irrespective of caste, religion or region, belong to God. They are the children of One and Only One God. He has not created any Caste. It is created by you and me. Neither try to test Him nor bribe Him. He is Righteous and while passing His judgment He will not see whether one belongs to this religion or that.

Therefore, it is time for all the parties to ponder over the ”Mysterious ways of God” and try to follow "His ways" so that whatever you do will be blessed by HIM, leading to all round prosperity and the people of India will live happily and peacefully. Deposit your treasure in Heaven and not in this world. The treasure obtained illegally will neither be useful to you in this world nor afterwards.

PROMISE OF CREATING JOBS

The election for the 15th Lok Sabha is here. Every party is trying to impress the voters that they will do every thing that is even impossible. Though some of the promises made may be possible they will not do so after they come to power.

Some parties have promised rice at very nominal price, others have promised to give free education to girl child, free electricity, food to the family at Rs.100/- and what not.

All parties are aware that there is a global recession. They also know that most of the companies world over are resorting to curtail man-power in order to survive during this recession. When the countries all over the world are struggling to retain existing jobs, our Political Parties are promising creating employment opportunities. How they will do this is a big question, which only God can answer. However, I am sure, after the results of the Election-2009 are out, there will be a lot of MPs and MLAs out of job. Let us see and watch how many will enter the Parliament through back-door to the Rajya Sabha.

PROMISE - TILL ELECTION ?

Election – 2009 is near. All the national and regional and petty parties are out with all sorts of assurances promising Rice at Rs.2.00, Interest free loan to farmers, Tax free FDs, Income Tax exemption and what not. While promising they don't realise, from where they provide all these from. From their pockets or from their party funds! Every thing is possible before the election and after the results are out who remembers the promises. After all, which law says that the election promises should be honoured. Even if there is one, politicians are exempted from such a law as they are the law makers. Their only aim is to get power and Kurshi.

In 2004 election, the government came to power promising free electricity to farmers. After election, not only the fuses of farmers blew off but also the fuses of the rest of Maharashtra with the exception of Mumbai. Where was the promise! The elected government failed to keep up its promise. However, what the opposition did to ameliorate the hardship of farmers and others. Did any party bother to raise this issue in the state assembly or in the Parliament? At the time of election, all have realized the problems of the common man.

The Voters are "ONE DAY MASTERS" and the Elected, for the rest of Five Years.

In some other states, the politicians promised SADAK, BIJILEE Aur PAANI, but how many were benefited with such promises, God alone knows. Some must have lost whatever they had before the election.

Some parties even promised to bring God from Heaven and keep Him in Ayodhya. But the problem was that they have still not found him in Heaven.

The same will be the fate of all who vote for these political parties, hoping to get what is promised.

1. Free education – how many got it is yet to be verified
2. Free electricity - we have a good experience
3. Free loan - They promise, but the banks have a lot of formalities
4. Free, free and every thing free – so far only the air, that we breathe is
free and nothing else. This may be taxed shortly as environmental tax.

It is like sponge - pressed at one side other side comes up. In the same way they give concession from one side, collect tax from other side. We think we have got a lot of benefits but forget what we pay in the form of increase in taxes.

Dear Voters of Election-2009, do not be carried away with the tall promises of these political parties. Use your sixth sense and cast your vote and fix these politicians with their own glue. If we fail to do this, we should blame not the politicians but ourselves.

BEST TIME IS NOW !!!

We read in the daily newspapers how the politicians create enmity where there is amity, where the women are respected but are insulted, etc. This is also, time and again repeated in the Electronic Media for the information of the public. In the net there are many comments, some favouring and some against. Others suggested that the Election Commission and Court should take action against them, etc. What is missing is "What we can do at this moment".

India is the only one country where you get a wide diversified people living in harmony, helping each other, participating in all the festivals irrespective of which community they belong to. We should really be proud of this multi-cultural society which most of other countries envy. However, this has been completely spoiled by our political class sowing the seeds of enmity to gain votes. Who is to blame for all these evils. We, the lethargic citizen of India who follow them without applying their minds.

If you are a citizen of peace loving India and you want to retain the rich multi-cultural society and also want to live peacefully in the years to come, NOW IS THE TIME to give instant justice against those who create problems in our society – Election 2009. Instead of asking Election Commission or the Court to take action, it is the right time for us to give instant justice by rejecting them outright in the election against those mindless leaders to whichever political party they belong to who sow the seeds of hatred. Let the law take its own course. It will take years, by which time the tenure of one Lok Sabha gets over. In the meantime the elected representative enjoys all the benefits, create more problems and becomes law unto himself. If his election is declared illegal, then whatever the benefits he enjoyed will not be recovered from him. The damage he caused to the society is beside the point.

In the present society followers of Devil are more than followers of God. Nevertheless, the saying “Mysterious are the ways of God” still prevails. HE takes control at an appropriate time.

My fellow citizen, if you love India, if your next generation wants to be happy, live peacefully and in harmony, irrespective of Caste, Religion, Region, Rich or Poor as the children of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD, cast your vote judiciously to save India today, for a better tomorrow. Next election will be too late. We want Statesmen and not Politicians. The Statesmen wants to see next generation whereas the Politicans see next election.

Please learn a lesson from our neighbour – Pakistan. They preached and practiced hatred against India for which they are paying heavy price now. It is now very difficult for it to come out of its own folly. Because of some of the fundamentalist attitude of some of the parties, we are also heading towards it which we have to stop at any cost.

ELECTION – 2009 should be the deciding factor for India’s future and it is in our hands. Be a responsible citizen and save INDIA.

VOTE 2009

YOUNG MPs FAIL FLOOR TEST

There was a news item in DNA dated 13.03. 2009, (page 11) saying that the Young MPs fail floor test. I do not think anybody was surprise on read this. This was expected as they belong to the elite families of politicians. Who will ask questions - a person who is hungry and thirsty and is having problems. The members of the elite families do not face any problems and are neither hungry nor thirsty. Therefore, why they should ask any questions in the Parliament and for what?

And what about the old MPs who are above 80+. Some of them were busy in one hospital bed or the other with different ailments. They have their own problems and have had no time to think of the problems of others. Some were busy in public relation so that they could at least become PM before the world comes to an end.

And the MPs in between were all busy in their own business or sleeping when the Parliament session was on and in some cases the public was watching on TV how the chairs, microphones and other items were flying in the Parliament.

THE THIRD FRONT

We understand that Mr. Deve Gowda laid the foundation for the Third Front as an alternative to the other two. After forming the Front they have started blaming UPA and NDA saying that UPA allies are deserting Congress and NDA is a sinking ship respectively. Fair enough. At the same time they are worried that their own allies may jump the ship after election. This shows that the Third Front is like a dried leaf about to fall and are not sure where the wind will take it. Whether it will fall in the flowing water or in fire. This is going to happen as the tug-of-war will begin before the result are declared, for the post of PM.

The TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has promised a lot of things to the farmers and the poor. Has he realized where the money comes from? Is he going to pay from his pocket, from his party or from the pockets of the citizen by imposing additional tax. If he is paying from his pocket or from his party, then we can call him a Statesman. If not, then he is an opportunist and has no right to do so.

Every Party, big or small, has glued together with one party or more parties for the election. Once the results are declared,(like arrival of monsoon), the glue will give way and the parties will fall one by one and will start swinging from one side to the other as the tunes played. The voters will have an opportunity to see a Grand and wonderful Circus, which they have never viewed so far, as the price for their votes.
